Made in the Northern Rivers, the brand comes from years spent in the water, under the sun, and moving with the rhythm of the coast. It’s not about trends or seasons, it’s about a way of living.

Zinky is simple, raw, and locally driven. Made for sun, salt, and movement. Created to protect, but also to represent a connection to the environment and the lifestyle that comes with it.

Influenced by the people, culture, and landscape of the Northern Rivers, the brand carries a strong appreciation for local communities, slow living, and time spent outdoors.

The people behind ZINKY

Sergio’s connection to the ocean started early, with swimming from the age of three, later competing, and eventually finding bodyboarding through family. That connection continued to evolve through surfing, shaping a life closely tied to the water.

He has spent the past seven years based in the Northern Rivers, building Zinky through his connection to the ocean, creativity, and the environment around him.

When people ask Fernando what brought him to Australia 14 years ago, he simply says: Surfing.

Constantly going on surf trips for the last 20 years provides him with a global perspective, alongside a strong visual direction as a digital artist. His creative approach shapes the way Zinky looks and feels.
